Mind Control with Derren Brown is my new favorite show. Its on the Sci-Fi channel and its amazing. The thig is, it’s not like all of that David Blain, Chris Angel Mindfuck shit that pretends its magic. It’s all about the power of suggestion, sublteties of body language, and stupidity of the average person. I’m being mean, we’re not all stupid. It’s just that intelligence, social status, religion, and power are veils we use to cloak mind. When someone is able to lift those veils everyone is basically like a child.

So I know we have gone all international on this beast of a website, but I still think it needs some California love. So if you, your friends, family, grandma, et al. live in the Ventura, CA area then you should make your way out to Billy-o’s on Main st. on Tuesdays. Dj Travis, Dr. Nick, and the tag team twins cheryl and amy will be there for you to drunkenly harass.
