If you’re like me, the Easter Bunny never quite looked the same after watching “Donnie Darko”, a surreal coming-of-age film about a guy (Jake Gyllenhaal) who, after a jet crashes into his house, starts to take direction from a huge evil rabbit named Frank, and begins to see glimpses into the future.

It has been 9 months and 3 days since I relaunched gogoray.net as a Drupal 5 work-in-process, and today I’m proud to announce some new features I have added so that we may have a more content-rich community site. Hand them out to friends! Put them on your bumper! Affix them to small household pets! Weave them together into extremely uncomfortable clothing! If you can dream it, you can do it (if it involves stickers).

Mind Control with Derren Brown is my new favorite show. Its on the Sci-Fi channel and its amazing. The thig is, it’s not like all of that David Blain, Chris Angel Mindfuck shit that pretends its magic. It’s all about the power of suggestion, sublteties of body language, and stupidity of the average person. I’m being mean, we’re not all stupid. It’s just that intelligence, social status, religion, and power are veils we use to cloak mind. When someone is able to lift those veils everyone is basically like a child.

So I know we have gone all international on this beast of a website, but I still think it needs some California love. So if you, your friends, family, grandma, et al. live in the Ventura, CA area then you should make your way out to Billy-o’s on Main st. on Tuesdays. Dj Travis, Dr. Nick, and the tag team twins cheryl and amy will be there for you to drunkenly harass. If you like dead kennedys, bee gees, blood brothers, le tigre, KISS, michael jackson, and donovan then you’ll have fun. Guarenteed.

I’m sitting here, on a mattress that my roomate and I dragged off of the street about a week ago (getting it to my top floor room in the apartment required considerable team effort. I’ve been on it for about a week, and I haven’t caught cholera yet - I guess that’s pretty much a green light. Right?
